Attitude of Gratitude
“People who are grateful are happy because they are satisfied with what they have.”
Mist of the times I can think in this way and I know I am grateful for any and everything that had came, gone, happened good and bad, because I know I would be where I am today if it had not and I would not know what I now know.
There are times where it’s much easier to tell someone else to be grateful and look at the brighter side of things; than it is to tell that to yourself. I try to always keep the thought close by, deep in my heart I can always find a good side to any situation, just have to sit and think about it. A lot of times things may not seem fair and seem as though everything horrible always happens to you, but the truth shines in the end. When it’s all said and done you realize why things maybe had to happen the way they did to get you to where you are today. It may take longer for some to notice and feel that way, but it’ll happen if you believe and pay attention.
I have all kinds of different emotions about my life, and it’s a lot of things I clearly haven’t gotten over yet, but I’m working on it. I try to always turn my bad into good and just like with fibromyalgia, it’s bad but this is the thing; I’ve had worst. So if I had a choice I would pick Fibro pain over anything else I’ve had. And I’m able to think that way because when you been in situations where you could have died but you are still yet alive, that is something to be thankful for and nothing else seems to be as bad as that.
I keep praying through the good, the bad and the ugly and wake up everyday hoping in going to do better today than I did yesterday.
Never stop praying. Whatever happens, always be thankful. This is how God wants you to live in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:17, 18 ERV)
